This post was rewrite from MoreNiche e-book ‘How To Rewrite Articles‘. OK, before we get started, I want you to look at a very important idea - related content.
What is related content? Related content is material that was related to topic of your website. If you have website content site, ‘related content’ for you is definitions, subject, images, facts/news (I also use this as ‘Notes:’ within my post). Example: Presume that article has topic about ‘Learn Guitar‘. Find 3 different things you can add to your site apart from articles on this ‘Learn Guitar‘ niche. How and what would you add?
Here are few ideas:
- Videos - showing people how to ‘handle a guitar’ and perform guitar maintenance.
- Music sheets
- Images - lots of famous guitar or highly price guitar (this will ‘WOW’ people that read your site)
- Facts - the first hand made guitars or first guitar band, etc
- Other guitar site aroung the web or any other feeder sites
- Guitar tip section
- Guitar glossary terms
- Guitar learn/playing Frequently Ask Question (FAQ)
- Author opinions/ favorite guitar player
- Related to other Guitar links - this must be your other sites or your affiliates guitar links (use some generic info)
- Use Plug-in poll for guitar comparison charts
- Insert a short product review (must be related) into the article - can be featured as recommended product/sponsor’s section or product of the month
- Opt-in form - give free newsletter every week or PDF version guide
By using this tip, you will not only creating something that is worthy link in your niche, but also help yourself to create some internal sources content and you can add link from your articles
But, where to get this content?
Take it easy man. This is really easy. You don’t have yo create articles yourself. Search the internet for it or get it from somewhere else. You can have your friends or others people to write for you. How about copy others content? Absolutely not. You must respect copyright laws, and you must understand what is Fair Use and what requirement permission.
Example:-
Fair Use - you can use snippets of content from other websites provided that you cite your sources. Always denote that the content is from another site (use block quote) and you must mention your sources.
Reasonable Limit - you shouldn’t copy articles sentence by sentence. If you’re using only small portion of an article (a few lines), that’s fine. Use and cite it. You’ll be fine. Also applies to definitions,FAQs (Frequently Ask Question), or small tip. If you mention your sources properly, you can build your sites without trouble.
If you want to use someone content or images, you must be aware of copyright law. Solution: use free royalty pictures.
Related content is a must. Unless you want your website just cookie-cutter site. You want your websites becomes a magnet for your target market. The best way is to provide your visitors with an amazing value guide and products.
